The Metropolitan Opera: Live in HD 2026/27

The incomparable magic of the Metropolitan Opera returns to Müpa once again: timeless works, new productions and audience favourites add yet more colour to what is already an exceptional programme. Thanks to the broadcasts, we will once again enjoy the outstanding performances of the New York opera house in HD quality on the big screen – from Mozart’s satirical Così fan tutte to a modern reworking of Macbeth and the elemental power of the Pulitzer Prize-winning Silent Night. The impressive line-up of world-class singers includes such names as Lise Davidsen, Elīna Garanča, Piotr Beczała, Nadine Sierra and Quinn Kelsey.
Pre-purchasing for the 2025/27 season of the MET Live will begin at the platinum level on 26 May at 10 am, at the gold level on the 27 May at 10 am. At the silver and basic level cardholders and members of the general public will get the opportunity to purchase tickets for individual performances at Müpa Budapest's ticket office and online from 3 pm on 27 May.
