Platinum level members of the Müpa+ membership programme can buy tickets for the event from 10 am on 26 May, Gold level members from 10 am on 27 May. Members of the Silver and Basic level, as well as the the general public will get the opportunity to purchase tickets from 3 pm on 27 May.

Following her radiant turn in Gounod’s Roméo et Juliette — which garnered raves for “high notes that spun like liquid gold... Sierra touched the operatic firmament” (The New York Times) — superstar soprano Nadine Sierra takes on another alluring French heroine, the irresistible title character of Massenet’s passionate drama. Leading tenor Matthew Polenzani is her idealistic lover, the Chevalier des Grieux, with rising-star baritone Andrzej Filończyk as her stalwart cousin, Lescaut, in a breathtaking Belle Époque staging by director Laurent Pelly.
The broadcast will be sung in the original language, and shown with Hungarian and English subtitles.

The Müpa Budapest underground garage gates will be operated by an automatic number plate recognition system.
