Recirquel Company Budapest: Kristály
Winter contemporary circus fairy tale
2 January 2020, Thursday
2 pm - 3 pm
Müpa Tent
Produced by Müpa Budapest

This winter, Recirquel will again present its production evoking the atmosphere of the end-of-year holidays. The magical world of Kristály awaits both children and adults alike in an enormous, snow-covered circus tent erected in front of the Müpa Budapest building, where the amazing fairy tale scene, glittering and frozen in ice, will come to life before the audience's eyes, and with their involvement.
This contemporary circus production conceived by artistic director Bence Vági recalls classic fairy tales with a story of how the mistress of the Kristály World loses her faith in human emotions and decides to freeze everything and seclude herself behind glittering walls of ice. Together, the audience and the artists in the performance will seek hope in the warmth of love and light through a world of amazing illusions and tricks.
At this production to induce the holiday spirit by the internationally renowned contemporary circus company, the audience will get to marvel at the breathtaking feats of the acrobats and even become part of the circus space itself. Sweeping overhead just inches away will be all the circus performers so beloved of the Hungarian audience from other Recirquel productions, this time complemented by guest artists from this country and abroad, who will take to the icy ring together with Hungary's most dazzling hip-hop dancers.

We wish to inform visitors that no seat tickets are available for this event as the interactive nature of the production requires the audience to move freely for the entire 50-minute duration.
Please consider this when purchasing your tickets.
