5th Budapest International Choral Celebration

This year marks the fifth edition of the Choral Celebration, with the joy of singing once again at its heart. Choirs from around the world will take over Müpa Budapest to present a rich variety of collective singing, as choral music fills almost every corner of the building over the course of a weekend. Ensembles will be arriving from countries as far flung as Germany, Slovenia, Latvia, Taiwan and the United States, while Hungary is of course also represented. The second evening of the Choral Celebration promises to be particularly exciting, as the singing – as is developing into something of a tradition – continues late into the night. Anyone wishing not only to listen to others sing but also to join in at this late hour can look forward to a truly immersive choral music experience. Over the three days, lovers of choral music from any age group and of any musical taste are sure to find the choir that most delights and excites them.
