Founded more than 15 years ago, Random Trip is one of the most thrilling music projects in Hungary today. In addition to its two permanent members – drummer Jávor Delov and DJ Q-Cee – each concert features the collaboration of various performers who joyfully explore the boundaries of improvised music together. It would be hard to guess the number of shows they have under their belts, but one thing is certain: since Random Trip’s formation, the music scene has witnessed the emergence of countless new talents, trends have come and gone, and even the audience has changed. On the occasion of Müpa Budapest’s 20th birthday, Random Trip will take the stage to examine this relationship – the dialogue and mutual influence between the generations – with the help of that universal language that knows no age limits or geographical boundaries: music.
