The aim of this band is clear: to use the freedom of playing in a trio to give space to the creativity of all three members. Each of the band’s compositions builds on the fundamental ideas of the members and is the product of their work together in the practice room. The unique blend of the trio’s combined tastes has resulted in a complex, modern sound, where all three instruments enjoy full reign of expression.
Károly László Kiss studied classic piano at the Csermák Antal School of Music before graduating in jazz piano at the Béla Bartók Conservatory, where he was taught by Áron Tálas, Krisztián Oláh and Richárd Révész. At the Liszt Academy, he was once again a student of Krisztián Oláh, before in 2023 he was admitted to the Musikakademie Basel Jazzcampus. Károly also teaches jazz piano for beginners online using his personal, improvisation-based method. Zsolt Vörös was a jazz bass guitar student of József "Pluto" Horváth at Egressy Béni Art High School, before also later being accepted to study jazz double bass. He learnt classic double bass under László Lisztes. From the 2020 academic year, his main teacher at the Béla Bartók Conservatory was Tibor Csuhaj-Barna. In 2021, he attended the Berklee College of Music’s five-week summer programme, and one year later was accepted to study at the institute. The 18-year-old Zoltán Fekete is currently a student at the Musikakademie Basel Jazzcampus. He completed his high school studies in the jazz department of the Béla Bartók Conservatory. In summer 2022, he was also accepted on to the five-week summer camp at Berklee, and was chosen to be a part of the Middle-Eastern Jazz Fusion group. The musical connections he formed there have led to him receiving further invitations to several major international projects.
