The Ég Alatti 5 band of young musicians performing live improvisational jazz was formed in the autumn of 2014. Their compositions include reconceived versions of hard-bop jazz harmonies from the '60s and various forms of folk music, as well as organic musical depictions of nature. The rhythmic pillar of this traditional jazz quintet line-up is supplied by Flóra Ujváry on upright bass and Dominik Hermán on drums, the harmonies by pianist Sámuel Baló, with the wind instruments manned by flautist/saxophonist/bass clarinettist Krisztián Ördög and trumpet-playing band leader Márton Udvardi.
