The Adrienne Bangó Quartet was formed in 2021, the same year the singer it was named for won the Young Jazz Musician of the Year Audience Award. The quartet's repertoire consists mainly of well-known jazz standards, but also includes arrangements. Besides jazz, they are also partial to R'n'B, funk and Latin music. The members of the group have already performed at the Jazz Showcase, so they are experienced backing for the nineteen-year-old singer.

Zsolt Farkas from Slovakia graduated from the jazz department of the Liszt Academy in 2020. As soon as he enrolled at the university, he became a permanent member of the Nikoletta Szőke Quartet, where he has been playing the piano ever since. Previously a student at the Snétberger Music Talent Centre, he now works as an assistant at the institution.
Gábor Pál is from Transylvania. He graduated from the jazz department in 2021 as a student of Béla Lattmann. In 2019, he won the Best Soloist Award at the seventh Jazz Combo Competition of the Hungarian Jazz Association. Last year, we heard him play in the Albert Horváth Quartet.
Adonisz Fábry started his studies at the Béla Bartók Secondary School of Music in 2019 under Dániel Serei and Tamás Geröly. In 2016, he performed at the Jazz Showcase with the D.A.S. trio, and in 2021 he joined the Tamás Bolyki Quartet.
Adrienne Bangó started studying classical violin at the age of seven at the Aladár Tóth Music School. In 2018, she was accepted to the Béla Bartók Secondary School of Music, and, although she won first prizes in several competitions in Budapest and Hungary, her heart was drawn to singing and jazz. She is now studying jazz at the Liszt Academy under Ágnes Lakatos and Júlia Karosi.

This event is presented in association with the Hungarian Jazz Federation, the Zemplén Festival and the Budapest Music Center.
