The Daveform Quintet, who are well-versed in the genre of modern jazz, have captured the attention of their peers with their unique sound and ecstatic music, which unites musical landscapes and styles. The group was founded after an encounter between some exceptional performers and composers who – through their individual achievements – have already demonstrated their ability on the international stage. The bar will be raised even higher at this special event, however, as the Hungarian musicians are joined by the American jazz guitarist and multi-instrumentalist Kurt Rosenwinkel. Rosenwinkel’s genre-defining musical language, which he has been refining for several decades and has made him a role model for the jazz musicians of his generation, will now encounter the instinctive, often raw yet sophisticated and expressive musical world of Dávid Szegő, Daveform Quintet's composer and drummer, on the stage of the Festival Theatre.
