CD launch concert of Zoltán Miller’s new solo album
21 November 2008 Friday
7 pm - 9:20 pm
Béla Bartók National Concert Hall

Zoltán Miller is one of Hungary’s leading musical performers who has played in numerous musicals and musical stage works with great success. However, he has not given a solo concert for five years and it was ten years since his last record. In autumn 2008, his much awaited solo album will finally be published, on which he will sing Hungarian and foreign hits, including Stay with me from Fecó Balázs and Korál group, Figaro from Miklós Fenyő and Péter Máté’s My Homeland and Once it will come to the end, which was the winning song in the television programme “Let’s Make a Festival”. On his new CD, he will also make his debut as a composer, having teamed up with lyricist Attila Valla. We will also hear songs at the concert which he sang when he was the front man of the much loved Emberek band. Zoltán Miller is a favourite of the audience and his fellow professionals: in 2000 he won an eMeRTon Prize and in 2004, was bequeathed the Súgó Csiga Awards. Hearing him live is a fantastic experience not just because of his voice but his personality and style of performing which instantly captivates.
