Platinum level members of the Müpa+ membership programme can buy tickets for the event on 5 May from 10 am, at the Gold level on 6 May from 10 am, and at the Silver level on 7 May from 10 am. Basic level members, as well as members of the general public will get the opportunity to purchase tickets from 10 am on 8 May.
Veronica Swift returns to Müpa Budapest for the second time, promising to revive several noble traditions at the concert to open this year’s JazzTime programme. Supported by a big band, she will perform evergreen standards perfectly suited to her personality as a true jazz diva. Those present are sure to be mesmerised by her astonishing vocal technique, virtuosic improvisations, and profoundly emotional delivery. It has become something of a hallmark of the Budapest Jazz Orchestra to accompany the world’s greatest female jazz vocalists. The ensemble’s powerful yet sensitive playing provides a strong foundation for vocalists, while simultaneously inspiring them to reach new heights. The brilliant solos from the orchestra’s musicians further enrich these concerts. The coming together of Veronica Swift and the BJO promises to be a true celebration of mainstream big-band jazz.

The Müpa Budapest underground garage gates will be operated by an automatic number plate recognition system.
