The Adrienne Bangó Quartet was established in 2021, the same year in which its founder won the Young Jazz Musician of the Year audience prize. A year later in 2022, the quartet itself became Jazz Showcase audience prizewinner: Its appearance comes courtesy of this award. Their repertoire primarily comprises familiar jazz standards, but their programme also contains a variety of arrangements. Besides jazz, they are also partial to R'n'B, funk and Latin music. We can be sure they have plenty of success ahead of them.

Adrienne Bangó started studying classical violin at the age of seven at the Aladár Tóth Music School. In 2018, she was accepted to the Béla Bartók Secondary School of Music, and, although she won first prizes in several competitions in Budapest and Hungary, her heart was drawn to singing and jazz.
