The queen of instruments sounded out for the first time at the Müpa Budapest concert hall 20 years ago, emerging from the closed, secretive world of church galleries to find new life under the lights of the concert hall. Over the following two decades, it was at the heart of countless highly successful, exciting and unforgettable concerts: solo recitals, orchestral evenings, light projections, musical duels, film screenings and many productions that might be described as total art. Regardless of the work and its genre, it has proven to be a reliable companion to all manner of musicians. Now, a new photo exhibition dedicated to this audience favourite captures these once-in-a-lifetime moments by celebrating the first 20 years of this magnificent instrument.
