Platinum level members of the Müpa+ membership programme can buy tickets for the event on 29 September from 10 am, at the Gold level on 30 September from 10 am, and at the Silver level on 1 October from 10 am. Basic level members, as well as members of the general public will get the opportunity to purchase tickets from 10 am on 2 October.

“Where would managers like us end up, if we fell for everything we saw with our own eyes?” asks József Szendrő, who plays one of the company executives. György Hintsch’s film was a genuine audience hit. One layer of István Kállai’s brilliant screenplay struck a chord with everyone: one about a country that turns itself inside out for Western tourists with hard currency, whilst not giving a damn about its ordinary citizens. The second layer is no less hilarious – a parody of the vapid and tasteless entertainment industry, and of sycophantic, money-grabbing individuals. There is, however, a deeper realm to the film's layers of meaning. Although the New Economic Mechanism was launched in 1968, the old cadres could not be replaced at the stroke of a pen. The comrades engaged in a heroic battle against reality, the absolute cream of Hungarian cabaret, never give up. Never mind! Little red Kabos will save the day!
