Platinum level members of the Müpa+ membership programme can buy tickets for the event on 29 September from 10 am, at the Gold level on 30 September from 10 am, and at the Silver level on 1 October from 10 am. Basic level members, as well as members of the general public will get the opportunity to purchase tickets from 10 am on 2 October.

This film by Lívia Gyarmathy occupies a unique place among those Hungarian films capable of getting a laugh. It is a little satirical, a little grotesque, and a little burlesque. It is related to the films of the Czechoslovak new wave (Menzel, Forman and Chytilová) and to modern French burlesque (Jacques Tati and Pierre Étaix), while at the same time appearing to be a genuine Hungarian socialist production film – except that in this factory no one is doing what they are supposed to be doing. It presents a world in which everyone tells everyone else what to do and how to do it. A world swarming with know-it-alls, slogan-spouters and rule-reciters, while the measuring instrument does not measure, the tap cannot be turned off, the railing wobbles, the battery is not charged, and the workers are peeping Toms. And in this uncertain world there is only one certainty: that the “Sandy Mandy” is a world-class act.
