"It was a long time ago, beyond my words… when courage still walked the roads," so the song by Tamás Szarka goes (Ghymes Band). We Dózsa, see the tragic, besotted hero, sing and dance played by Péter Novák, one of the most multi-faceted artists of our day. The Honvéd Dance Theatre will recount the life of the legendary peasant leader to a soundtrack of folk music selected by Péter Makó of the Csík Ensemble, from his downfall to the ugly end to the peasant revolt. Despite the grim tale told by history, the audience are presented with a spectacular and highly entertaining dance and music show: a new national dance theatre production created by choreographer and director Zoltán Zsuráfszky. Further performance: Festival Theatre, 14-15 April, 25 May (7 pm) Presented by the National Dance Theatre
