Come hear the most popular melodies, arias and orchestral excerpts from Richard Wagner’s operas at the closing event of the Budapest Wagner Days festival! We first held this highlights concert in 2023 and are now presenting it for the third time, in order to welcome not only fans, but also those who are just getting to know the magic of Wagner’s passionate style. Taking up the baton for the evening will be the festival’s artistic director, Ádám Fischer, as he conjures up the world of heroes and heroines for the audience through music. The four vocal soloists are soprano Daniela Köhler, mezzo-soprano Dorottya Láng, and two tenors, Zoltán Nyári and Kiss Tivadar, with the colourful richness of Wagner’s music produced by the Hungarian National Philharmonic Orchestra.
