Platinum level members of the Müpa+ membership programme can buy tickets for the event on 3 June from 10 am, at the Gold level on 4 June from 10 am, and at the Silver level on 4 June from 3 pm. Basic level members, as well as members of the general public will get the opportunity to purchase tickets from 10 am on 5 June.

It is a Wagner Days tradition to each year present an aria concert or song recital by a leading interpreter of the works of Wagner. One of the very greatest Wagnerian singers of our time, Swedish dramatic soprano Nina Stemme is also at home with the styles of many other composers, ranging from Gluck to Johann Strauss II, Puccini, Richard Strauss and Shostakovich. The Stockholm-based dramatic soprano, who speaks five languages and has the extremely prestigious Birgit Nilsson Award to her name, has won tremendous acclaim in productions everywhere from Bayreuth and Salzburg to the Met and Covent Garden, working with top conductors like Ádám Fischer, Antonio Pappano and Franz Welser-Möst. Accompanying her on piano as she dishes up a taste of the musical works of Liszt and Wagner will be her fellow Swede Roland Pöntinen, who is also active as a composer.
