A broad spectrum of musical genres can be heard in and around the Foyer in the afternoons: visitors stopping by and wishing to hear music in Müpa may listen to the young representatives of popular music, jazz and folk on Tuesdays and classical genres on Wednesdays and Saturdays. The Colour Concert series gives students of the Ferenc Liszt Music Academy and other music schools an opportunity to showcase their talent and commitment to the best of their abilities.
The Mosaicum Ensemble, founded in 2014, received its name due to the cultural variety of its members. It comprises musicians from different countries such as Hungary, Germany, Check Republic, Colombia, Portugal, Croatia, Romania, Finland, and Japan, it's like a special mosaic. This peculiarity makes the orchestra a melting pot that offers a new sound in every concert.
