With exceptional virtuosity, as well as a singular sense of rhythm, different nuances and poetry, Arcadi Volodos narrates profound stories about infinite worlds. He also studied voice and conducting before dedicating his career exclusively to the piano and continuing his training at the Moscow conservatory and later on in Madrid and Paris.
Ever since his 1996 New York début, Volodos has been taking the stage with the world's leading orchestras, under the baton of renowned conductors. Playing an equally important part in his career are the solo recitals that he performs in the world's most storied concert halls. In addition to the great classics, his rich repertoire also includes pieces by infrequently played composers. He received many plaudits, including the Diapason d’Or, the Edison, the Echo Klassik and Gramophone Awards.
