One of the most distinctive bands on the Hungarian music scene, Subtones is bidding farewell to its audience. Over the years, they developed a unique and instantly recognisable sound, drawing on the improvisational freedom of modern jazz, the emotional depth of soul, and the raw, elemental energy of funk. Their music is characterised by virtuoso instrumental performance, striking and distinctive songs, and an exceptional stage presence. On this special evening, the most important compositions of their career and the defining musical milestones of their shared journey will come to life with the help of several visionary musicians from the band’s inner circle. This farewell concert is both a retrospective and a celebration: a fitting conclusion to an era that has left a lasting mark on the borderlands where Hungarian pop and jazz meet. This promises to be an evening that speaks not only of the story of Subtones, but also of the shared legacy of the years spent together with their audience.

The Müpa Budapest underground garage gates will be operated by an automatic number plate recognition system.
