In just a few years, Mörk, who add psychedelic, sometimes subtly jazzy layers to soul and funk, have become a major band on the Hungarian scene, and have been captivating audiences not only at home but also at festivals abroad. Their third album was inspired by their experiences during the enforced worldwide pause, and the stripped-down material is dominated by groove-driven, jazzy neo-soul moods and a message of the vital importance of deep human connections. Songs from the album will make their live debut here.

Mörk, now a Fonogram and Artisjus award-winner, quickly gained many fans with their lively and spontaneous early concerts. Following their 2016 debut album, a pair of mini-albums with contrasting moods paved the way to international success, including numerous festival appearances at home and abroad. After the more gloomy The Death Of Mörk (2018) and the more relaxed The Resurrection Of Mörk (2019), which addressed thought-provoking social, psychological and everyday themes, the hiatus they were forced into in the difficult year of 2020 brought with it the opportunity for renewal. Mörk have incorporated the experiences of the period - the sudden change in circumstances, the vital role of deep human relations with family and friends, the fuller experience of being human in general, the deepening and connecting power of the arts - into their fresh songs from and since that time, which have come together to create a more streamlined and cohesive sound. The powerful material evokes the world of jazzy and groove-based, pulsating neo-soul music, and can be heard live for the first time at this concert in the Müpa Budapest Festival Theatre.
