For the first half of this concert, Micheller Myrtill and the Swinguistique ensemble, who have a gold disc to their name, will perform well known Edith Piaf chansons in the upbeat Gypsy swing style that the band is known for. The second half will feature, accompanied by a different line-up, popular Francophone hits from decades past by such performers as Dalida, Yves Montand and Mireille Mathieu. Myrtill's childhood dream was realised when she earned diplomas first in French, and then in jazz singing. In addition to her international accolades, she has been a widely known and popular figure in the music profession in Hungary for more than 15 years, having collaborated on more than 40 albums and published nine of her own solo records and DVDs.
