We would like, even during this extraordinary situation, for the Müpa Budapest audience to still be able to encounter the world's most outstanding and thrilling artists each evening - this time in their own homes. It is precisely for this reason that we will open Müpa Budapest's virtual concert hall and auditoriums - each night at the familiar times - by providing access to a single unforgettable performance from past years.

The performance will be broadcasted on our website and YouTube channel.

Jamie Winchester has long been a familiar face on the Hungarian popular music scene, heard in a wide variety of musical contexts but with quality the ever-present element. Since he moved back to his native Ireland, we've been listening to his records more frequently to make for his absence from the local stage.
These days, opportunities are rare for a Hungarian audience to be enchanted by his heart-warming songs and calming personality. Jamie misses us too. Although he had to cancel his this year's concert due to the pandemic, in 2014 he returned with a special gift at year's end for those of us who are always delighted to welcome him back. Making the occasion even more special, he has invited three wonderful female musicians to help interpret his songs. Vera Jónás, Anna Pásztor and Edina Mókus Szirtes open doors to three different musical worlds, but the key to each is in Jamie's own captivating sound.

This recording was made at a concert held at Müpa Budapest on 30 December 2014.
