It is through their cultures that peoples and ethnic groups are able to most effectively introduce themselves to the world. It is this idea that prompted the European Academy of Sciences and Arts to help the continent's most populous social group without its own country to establish a musical ensemble. The Müpa Budapest audience will get the chance to witness first-hand the début of the European Roma Festival Orchestra, as they play music created by Roma and other minorities at this, their first-ever public performance.
