Featuring:

With two dozen albums, six Grammies, and a succession of gold and platinum records, David Sanborn has been one of the most prolific and active jazz saxophonists of the past three and a half decades. Greatly inspired by Chicago blues at the beginning of his career, he is now equally at home in all styles, and he is proved an all-round player not only by his incredibly rich output, but by each and every concert he gives.

He has played with the greatest legends of jazz and pop, creating some of the most inspired moments on the records of David Bowie and Stevie Wonder, among others. He is equally ready to take on the responsibilities of a frontman and those of a band member. He owns a legendary capacity to work, going on stage in 2010 on more than 150 occasions, in productions of the most diverse genres. Constantly challenging himself and pushing the envelope of the different styles, Sanborn is a performer who has never lost his interest in new things. When this immensely affable artist performs with his own band, one often has the impression of watching not one but ten groups, with different roots and styles: David Sanborn keeps offering a new palette with every song.
