Sparked by inspiration and working on a new album, with one new hit already out, Bori Péterfy & Love Band are giving their first concert in Budapest for nearly six months, this time in the unusual format of a drive-in show broadcast to the audience. Either way, everyone is sure to have an incredible time. The concert will feature chansons both old and new, dance tunes, energy and a shared celebration of the reopening of Müpa Budapest, along with their special guests: the kinetic rapper Saiid and András Lovasi, the midwife of the first Love Band albums and a vital figure in the band's history.

After the break up of the band Amorf Ördögök, the actress and singer Bori Péterfy continued her musical career with Bori Péterfy & Love Band in 2007. The group was formed by songwriter and band leader Ambrus Tövisházi, and from their first album to their upcoming seventh full-length release, they have been producing a mix of chansons, alternative rock and colourful and psychedelic pop ever since. In combination with their consistently scorching concerts, their incredible, distinctive, instantly recognisable yet kaleidoscopic-sounding albums, which combine pop sounds with progressive and subtle sentiments, have made Bori Péterfy & Love Band into one of the most popular and - as the name suggests - most loved bands in Hungary. They are currently working on their latest album, Szikra (Spark). They have already released one bouncing Italo disco song that speaks to both body and mind - a tune that perfectly fits the feeling of the taste of freedom and shared joy at the opportunity to finally attend a concert once again - albeit in rather unusual surroundings - after so much time shut inside. Not to mention the chance to enjoy a show that will see some major former Love Band collaborators take to the stage. After being one hundred lights years away (just like their tune of the same name), now we will finally be a little closer.
