Thank you for your understanding!

Dear Viewer, you would be correct in recalling that neither poverty, courage nor modesty constitute one of the seven deadly sins. Yet in this anthology film, the creators – seven Belgian and French directors – present the world from another perspective. Maurice finds himself in heaven, where he proceeds to fill the Lord (Robert Mitchum) in about what’s happening on Earth. One unique aspect of the film is that each episode is told in a different style and tone. The episodes include a children’s show, a film noir, a mockumentary and a fantasy. There are triumphs and defeats. And in this heavenly report, a superhero repairs televisions in civilian clothes. Isn’t it a profane act, to bring such trivialities before the Lord himself? God knows. But these are our virtues and sins. Our lives.
