Amazing Grace, Deep River, Ezekiel Saw the Wheel… As part of the Negro spiritual music workshop series, this session brings us closer to these well-known songs, giving us a chance to hear them them authentically performed. The audience will not only be introduced to different aspects of the history of the spiritual, but will also learn one or two songs and sing them together with the Jason Max Ferdinand Singers. This group is one of the most skilled exponents of the spiritual around today, and their performances have earned them the title of Choral Olympiad champions.
