Youssou N'Dour hardly requires any introduction when visiting Budapest, especially for those who attended his last sold-out concert at Müpa Budapest in 2022. Born a griot and thus into a life of music, the Senegalese singer/songwriter is credited with refining the local dance music style known as mbalax, opening the way for it to enter the mainstream of international pop music. His return to Budapest promises to be an unmissable experience featuring material from his new album Light The World, which he recorded with Snarky Puppy bassist Michael League. On stage with his band at Müpa Budapest, he will perform his latest songs about love and friendship, as well as older hits.
