Ticket validity
Our performances and events can be attended with valid tickets. Free programmes are exceptions to this rule.
Attending our adult shows is not recommended for children younger than primary school age (6 years).
Tickets must also be purchased for young children if they attend a performance.
Please take age recommendations into consideration, even in the case of children’s events.
Attending free events
Some free events require preliminary registration (e.g. Organ Tours, certain film screenings), which can be done after login on the event’s detailed information page. You will receive an email to confirm that your registration has been accepted, which will include details about admission to the hall.
Changes in programming, dates and cast
Müpa Budapest Nonprofit Kft. shall reserve the right to change the date, venue and cast of its events, as well as to cancel such events.
Ticket returns and replacements
No tickets can be returned for a refund or exchanged for a different ticket, regardless of whether they were purchased in person or online. Tickets will solely be refunded in case of cancelled events.
In the event that Müpa Budapest cancels one of its own events, tickets can be returned exclusively to Müpa Budapest ticket office within 30 days of the date of the cancelled event.
In the event that Müpa Budapest cancels an event it was scheduled to host but did not organise, please read the front of your concert tickets or the information on the event organiser’s website concerning ticket return options. Alternatively, request information in person from the event organiser using the direct contact details printed on the ticket.
Lost, destroyed or damaged tickets will not be replaced.
Admission of late arrivals
Visitors arriving late to our events will only be allowed to take their seats during the intermission.
Reseating
Müpa Budapest reserves the right to reassign audience seating if this is necessary for the production to be performed under the best possible conditions, provided it can provide each guest with a seat from the same or a higher price category. Our ushers will inform viewers of the reseating arrangements in such cases.
