Balázs Zságer – fender rhodes, keyboards, programming, Andor Kovács – guitar, bass guitar, DJ Bootsie – scratch, Tibor Lázár – drums This band led by Balázs Zságer, one of the composers and keyboard players on Yonderboi’s first album, has enjoyed great success for its live performances of retro-rock-dance music in Hungary and abroad; Zagar are regular guests as various festivals. Their music fuses the pulse of dance, the intelligence of jazz and the passion of rock and it says much about their atmosphere that they not only publish their own records but are regularly commissioned to compose film music. They have contributed music to Ferenc Török’s film Szezon (Season) and advertising guru Gábor Fabricius’s short film, Live. For the first album of the Underground Divas’s project, Balázs Zságer invited the finest Hungarian female singers: Sena, the Ghanaian-Hungarian hip-hop singer, Edina Kutzora from the Yonderboi band, Judie Jay, who has sung with numerous electronic formations such as The Cas!o Samples, Bori Péterfy from Amorf Ördögök and the Krétakör Theatre, Enikő Hódosi from Neo and Juci Németh, former singer with Anima Sound System and now one of the presenters of Hungarian Television’s Kultúrház arts show.
