The Liszt and Erkel award-winning Kálmán Oláh has a stellar reputation in Hungarian as well as international jazz scenes. He is a virtuoso pianist, a band leader, the composer of award-winning jazz compositions and ambitious classical works, a teacher, and – last but not least – a proud father. His sons are following in his footsteps, and as they set about creating their own musical worlds, they look to their father as a source of inspiration. Krisztián Oláh, also a pianist, is one of the most sought-after band members among pioneering jazz groups, while his younger brother, Kálmán Oláh Jr, is a key member of Krisztián’s own quartet. Both are accomplished composers as well. It is rare to hear all three perform on the same stage. They will celebrate Müpa Budapest’s 20th birthday not only by playing together, but also by offering a surprise prepared especially for this occasion.

In order to avoid this, we recommend that you depart for our events in time, so that you you can find the ideal parking spot quickly and smoothly and arrive for our performance in comfort. The Müpa Budapest underground garage gates will be operated by an automatic number plate recognition system.
