Nearly a generation has passed since Müpa Budapest first opened its doors. The once promising, rising stars of that time have now become key figures in the Hungarian and international music scenes. Katalin Kokas and Müpa Budapest Artist of the Season Barnabás Kelemen are both familiar figures in the Béla Bartók National Concert Hall, having enchanted audiences there countless times with their vibrantly fresh and invigorating playing. This festive concert represents a new milestone in their career. Joining the artist couple to perform the works by Mozart and Mendelssohn that frame the concert will be not only Dóra Kokas, but also their 17-year-old son Gáspár Kelemen, who has already achieved significant success of his own, while the youngest talent in the family, seven-year-old Olga Kelemen, will make her Müpa Budapest debut in Küchler’s Violin Concerto in G major.
