Tiken Jah Fakoly, who hails from the Ivory Coast, is an icon of African music and one of the biggest reggae stars in his homeland. Active since the 1980s, this politically infused performer took a decade to gain more global recognition. Since then, his hit records have proved to be some of the finest in his genre, while his fans adore his energetic concerts. The unique sound of his reggae is enriched with a plethora of brass players, as well as distinctive local influences and instruments.
