Sena is one of the most prominent Hungarian singers of the last 20 years, as she has proven in solo performances, with various special formations and with Irie Maffia, but she still has much more up her sleeve. One example is a dub project that shows the singer's meditative, spiritual side. The circular musical structures and reverberating sound of dub provides space for contemplation, but also lulls the listener into a special emotional state - and this is precisely the effect of the Sena DagaDub trio's music.

Sena hardly needs any introduction, as she has been active throughout the 21st century, showing her many faces in a variety of different productions. She released her soul and, hip-hop debut album in 2003, has collaborated with artists like Lőrinc Barabás and Žagar, and formed one of the most popular Hungarian bands of the 2010s with Irie Maffia. In the meantime, she has remained active as a solo artist, touring successfully with the Sena Band, and for her third and latest soul-afrobeats album Feathers (2017), she wrote not only the lyrics but also composed the music. Meanwhile, she also appeared on tracks by major international artists (including an LP with DJ Vadim in 2015), so there is no way you'll catch her resting on her laurels. And that is great for the audience, because the Sena DagaDub show with producer Márton Élő and flutist Ákos Pásztor is another first-class production. Jamaican dub, jazz flute and Sena's smoky voice create a truly unique vibe. She is never in a hurry and is both versatile and repetitive, showing that sometimes it is worth slowing down and looking around in this infinitely accelerated world. She breaks away from the three-minute song pattern and lets her music flow freely.
