The highly successful debut album by the L’Antidote trio, known for their atmospheric and mystical music, was released in autumn 2025. The members of this world, jazz and experimental music supergroup have all performed individually in Hungary already, and the list of artists they have previously worked with is impressive: Sting, Ludovico Einaudi, and Robert Plant, to name just a few. This will be the first time we will hear them together, and it is an opportunity well worth seizing. Known for their improvisational approach, the chemistry between L’Antidote’s members, hailing from the Balkans and the Middle East, and their instruments is truly captivating. The Lebanese pianist Rami Khalifé brings modern classical influences, the Albanian cellist Redi Hasa — a Nirvana fan and key member of Ludovico Einaudi’s ensemble — adds his distinctive touch, while the Iranian-born Bijan Chemirani, who has also performed with Sting, infuses their joint compositions with Persian percussion traditions. A sound of freedom that defies all boundaries.
