"Én meg az Ének played a very important part in my life. It started out in 2005 as an idea for a project to rework Hungarian-language songs, and it was five years before emléxel? (do you remember?), the first - and so far, only - album appeared. Following the launch concert for the album recorded with the band, Én meg az Ének became a single-guitar outfit, and I started to also subconsciously fit in songs from my other musical activities (BlaBla, hiperkarma, BioRoBoT, folk songs, poems, etc.). The concert at Müpa Budapest will be interesting, unique and, or so it appears, a one-off experience because this time the songs won't be played in a traditional rock line-up, and not just pared down to a single guitar. Instead, we're trying to arrange each individual song to match to its character.” (Robi Bérczesi)
