Nox: Quiet
3 October 2007, Wednesday
5 pm - 8 pm
Béla Bartók National Concert Hall

Since Nox was formed in 2001, the group’s interest in preserving traditions through rock has made them famous. They are synonymous with Hungarian folk music and dance and are increasingly associated with theatre productions. During their Ragyogás (“Shining”) tour in 2005/2006, their use of folk motifs and elements made them both unique and distinctive. The meeting of ancient Hungarian culture and the modern world became Nox’s calling card. They’ve filled eighty sports stadiums consecutively, been on a twenty-castle-tour and played to over 400 000 people. Now they are up for a new challenge as they give a refined and atmospheric concert with the title Nox: Quiet. This is a one-off now-or-never event from Szilvia Péter Szabó and her partners at the Palace of Arts.
