It is now almost a tradition for Kispál és a Borz to give, by their standard, a rather different performance at the end of the year at the Béla Bartók National Concert Hall – and this year is no different. The band will give live performances of their songs in two quite different styles: in the first half, they will be playing as a trio (drum, bass-vocals, guitar) with no electronic effects, in breezy arrangements. In the second half – they’ll be joined by the well known “Kispál tokkal-vonóval”... musicians – playing old and brand new songs in new arrangements. There will be the Ferenc Varga String Trio (Tamás Kunos, Attila Szabó, Pál István Szalonna), Dióssy will be playing an authentic Hammond organ, a Fender Rhodes and the concert grand piano, while Gábor Leskovics will not only play guitar but is bringing his banjo and mandolin. The aim is to make all the instruments sound marvellous in the superb acoustic of the hall.
