Since Kimnowak formed in 1993, they have become a kind of trade mark. A true platform in which several generations of musicians and countless creative ideas could come together. The band soon outgrew the “group” format, thanks to their eight released records being awash with curiosities. If the people they have worked with are surprising – from Gábor Presser via the Cotton Club Singers to the most exciting serious and folk music performers – so too have been the venues where these albums were made (Ég és Föld – Sky and Earth, 1996, Veszprém Petőfi Theatre). This performance is a selection from thirteen years of work, appearances and documents. This is primarily an acoustic evening and aims to break boundaries of genre: other artists, actors, dancers, video and graphic artists come to Kimnowak as guests. This is why it is called Kimnowak House.
