Hey, June!
Featuring Krisztián Szűcs – guitar vocals, Zsolt Ábrahám – guitar, Zoltán Takács – keyboard instruments, Róbert Németh – bass guitar, Gyula Orbán – drums

Sajnálom, Mozdulj, Hol van az a krézi srác, Dél-Amerika, Ez a szerelem, Szia, Tudom hogy szeretsz titokban – we all know who we’re talking about, don’t we? Heaven Street Seven, formed in 1995, has been one of the most distinctive local guitar-pop bands of the last two decades. The five-member group, which releases an album roughly every two years, at first singing purely in English, released an album entitled Cukor in 2000 containing songs with entirely Hungarian lyrics for the first time. Since then the band has continuously released albums in Hungarian with at least two or three songs becoming hits each time. Krisztián Szűcs and band have opened for numerous world stars during the span of their career, such as REM, Radiohead, Fun Lovin’ Criminals and Morrissey, and have won highly respected local (Fonogram) and international prizes (European Breakthrough Award). They also managed to complete a fifteen-stop European tour in 2007. The band gave a double celebration concert in 2010 to mark its fifteenth birthday and the release of a double album of greatest hits entitled Dunabeat. This evening’s show is clearly a special occasion for the band as the songs will be performed in a brand new light, different from the versions heard at festivals or in clubs. The songs will be specially orchestrated for the occasion, with rarely heard material, new colours and new emphases promising to make the evening a truly exciting one. Presented by: Palace of Arts
