Composer’s evening with András Lovasi – Songs of 22 years
29 December 2009, Tuesday
7 pm - 9:15 pm
Béla Bartók National Concert Hall
Produced by Müpa Budapest

András Lovasi is one of the outstanding thinking rock musicians of our times. His great achievements during the past years include formations like Kispál és a Borz, Kiscsillag, and Bandi a hegyről and the film music he composed. He was also part of, contributor to or even father of several lasting performances at Palace of Arts: he had a success at festival “Circle”, for the past years, he and Kispál és a Borz have delivered, in the last days of the year a unique, constantly changing concert. This evening the author is not contributing to other bands’ productions (Budapest Bar, Csík Band, Lackfi poems) but his guests and friends – and also Lovasi himself – perform songs of the past 22 years. Kispál és a Borz and Kiscsillag, also several great folk, jazz and rock musicians and singers contribute to the show. Besides the early songs, rarely performed solo pieces and brand new songs will also be heard. All this in a usual Kispál-concert wrapping, now traditional in Palace of Arts: offering musical surprises, in new gift socks...
