Bar Pianist Gala
20 October 2007 Saturday
5 pm - 8:30 pm
Béla Bartók National Concert Hall

Roland East Europe and the Filmmúzeum will hold their exclusive gala this year, too, during which night they introduce the grand masters of a special profession, bar pianists, to the audience for the fifth time. Enthusiasts of the genre filled the auditorium at past galas, where programs compiled from known and popular melodies evoked the past on stage. This tradition creating initiative has proven that the interest and love of the audience towards bar pianists did not cease by today. It is no surprise: artists performing at these concerts are true musical talents, and wonderful, first class musicians.
