Attila László – guitar, Kálmán Oláh – piano, Béla Lattmann – bass guitar, Zoltán Csanyi – keyboards, Tommy Campbell – drums (USA) For more than thirty years, Attila László as been one of the most important guitarists of Hungarian fusion jazz. An interesting feature of his music is that despite his taut and powerful sense of rhythm, he also produces a soft and subtle sonority, the key to which is the pastel like arrangements he employs as a composer, as well as his sensitivity to harmony. Amer...ican drummer Tommy Campbell now lives in Japan and met Attila in 1995. Campbell’s playing has a colourful range of dynamics, at one moment subtle, the next thumping away passionately, and this is superbly apt for the Hungarian guitarist’s compositions. The two artists played together last ten years ago: they now meet up on the stage in MUPA, to recall old times and to test one another with some new compositions.
