Müpa Budapest – then known as the Palace of Arts – opened its doors two decades ago, on 14 March 2005. It seems almost inconceivable that some 25,000 events have taken place in the building in the 20 years since, while the number of artists who have performed within its walls is approaching a million. On the occasion of the anniversary, and as one of Müpa’s largest exhibitions to date, we are evoking the shared memories of the past two decades and thousands of unforgettable moments through the exhibition of a special collection of visual displays – almost 300 selected photographs, a giant montage compiled from 1,200 images, as well as sound and video recordings.

Húsz év emberi léptékkel mérve nagy idő, de hogyan látja az eltelt időszakot Káel Csaba, aki vezérigazgatóként 2011 óta áll a Müpa élén, ám kapcsolata az intézménnyel még ennél is régebbre nyúlik vissza?
