Veronaki Quartet:
The little witch has a big task ahead of her: she must find her parents. Her journey will take her through each of the four seasons. Veronaki Trio’s Cifra Palinta concert weaves a magical world around the interplay of change and continuity, while inviting the audience to join in with the singing. Familiar children’s songs and traditional folk melodies – from Bújj, bújj zöld ág to Süss fel nap and beyond – get fresh arrangements, with original lyrics by Veronika Tarján and compositions by Kornél Mogyoró all contributing to the experience. The audience will also play a part in shaping the story, as the little witch can only find her way back to her family with their help. Through playful musical storytelling, the concert takes us on a journey through the days, months, and seasons, while revealing just how much music can be squeezed into a single year. A delightful meeting of familiar melodies, fresh sounds, and an enchanting story.
