Why is Mozart still considered one of the first true superstars in music history? The Danubia Orchestra and Máté Hámori’s playful, energetic concert seeks the answer – guiding us from the composer’s path from being discovered as a young prodigy to his great masterpieces, while letters, anecdotes and fascinating musical insights paint a picture of the multi-faceted genius who even inspired chocolate makers. From behind the familiar melodies, the man himself steps forward: the curious, witty, perpetually active Mozart, whose music still sounds fresh and inspiring today. With plenty of humour and in a language that children can relate to, this concert will introduce us to Mozart’s world by showing how a composer can become a cultural phenomenon whose influence stretches across centuries, while the entertaining stories and the drama pouring from the music help us comprehend the extreme circumstances surrounding his life and creative work.

The Müpa Budapest underground garage gates will be operated by an automatic number plate recognition system.
