Janosch’s world-famous heroes, Little Tiger and Little Bear, continue to captivate audiences on the puppet stage time and again. After all, at the heart of their adventures is one of childhood’s most important experiences: friendship. The Mesebolt Puppet Theatre of Szombathely brings this heart-warming, fun and occasionally surprising world to life, where two best friends set off on adventures, get into trouble, and together find their way out of it again. The story’s gentle humour, warmth and perfectly balanced emotional tone feel familiar and endearing not only to children, but to adults as well. Kata Csató’s direction explores togetherness, curiosity, and the great importance of having someone who always stands by our side, all in a playful, sensitive and cheerful manner. A production that will make the world seem a friendlier place.
