MINI MATINÉE

'Last night, I dreamed I was walking in a golden garden, where I saw golden trees and golden walnuts. Bless Uncle Andrew as many times as there are leaves rustling on the windswept branch!'
This is what we exclaim on Saint Andrew's Day. And then we're visited by Barbara, and then Nicholas, with his clattering cane. On the winter night, the angels appear in the village: who knows if they're real or not? One thing is certain: they knock on every door and deliver lots of joy, bringing tidings in brilliant song of the arrival of Lord Jesus... and then come the Saint Lucy's procession, the carollers and the bringers of the Nativity scene, who spread good wishes all over the courtyard – let's listen to them sing!
